Shipping stuff-alternative to Greyhound?

Hey folks,

years ago I shipped some large bulky car parts with greyhound package express. They no longer offer the service.

are there any other options ? I have a 70 lb rug in a box that needs to go from Houston to Los Angeles. UPS and FedEx cost more than the rug. USPS will not ship it at all.

I have heard Fastenal will ship store to store, and more than likely you have local store both locations.

 

Thanks. I called Fastenal and they could only get it from Houston to Albuquerque New Mexico

 

have you checked with companies like ABF Freight?

it’s been a while, but I shipped a short block with them before it’s only like 100 bucks from Tampa to Columbus Ohio

 

Check with AMTRAK. They ship some things depending on size but someone would have to pick it up.
