You need to put some kind of cap/bumper on the bottom bolt. A loose piece of cargo hitting it will cause that bolt to puncture your bed's fiber wall.

It’s not light for its size it says on spec sheet 95# and I believe it’s probably close to it. I’ll be putting 650# springs on up front. Glad I’ve already had them sitting around for nearly a year now

I really did think I was going to hate it.....and was fully prepared to do so.....and our first long distance trip we lost cell reception on several occasions, but never actually lost the route in the head unit (as long as you don't stop the route while you are out of cell reception).

It's nice, as there are always current traffic updates, current speed traps (some actually exactly where GMs said they were) and there is no need to update any of the maps as they are always current, each time you start out.
Give it a shot and see what you think.

I read about the moisture issues so I ran a bead of silicone around the edges. I live in the PNW so plenty of rain, we’ll see how things go. The wife really likes them as do I.
