I have a prayer request for my nephew Anthony, he contracted Legionnaires disease. He is in critical condition and in an induced coma in the hospital now. I just got the text a few minutes ago.

Update. 40 days after my double eye surgery. I am now seeing single vision for the first time in 7 years. When I’m tired my eyes will struggle but tonight driving home was the first time that the reflective lines were not crossing diagonally through my field of vision. God is good!!!

A follow up on my nephew Anthony, he will be in the hospital in an induced coma for 2 months at least. He will then face rehab to learn how to walk again. Nobody knows how or where he contracted the disease either.

Hope all is well life’s struggles continue! Congratulations in a big time way that sending a like just doesn’t quite convey Mark! Glad you are able to see like you once did again.

How’s Anthony doing Mike? It’s creepy to think about the invisible things we unknowingly run into or barely avoid in our daily travels. I’m currently working in a place that creeps me out that way. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death…

I received a phone call from a very distressed friend. His wife has been an issue for quite awhile and has accused him of something he says he didn’t do. I don’t think he did and I’ve met his wife and I was left with an odd feeling about her. He has been going to counseling to be a better husband. He’s pretty gruff and use to be an inspector where I once worked. For him to go to counseling knowing him meant to me he wanted to change. We are all a little gruff at times but sometimes we take it to far with our loved ones. Anyway she I don’t think saw that coming because I think she just wanted to get gone and he just wanted their relationship back to where it should be as man and wife. Anyway I think to get what she wants she is willing to cry wolf in order to get it.

I trust my friend but in all fairness I’ve been lied to before. My prayer is that if he is innocent as he says God’s justice will prevail! If he is guilty that God’s justice will prevail. In the world we live in if we are willing to lie and bear false witness we can if skillfully done destroy a life. (Amber H and Johnny D attempt comes to mind) Praying for my friend knowing that God will hear and tend to this matter because of our prayers.

I’ve had a few friends that have taken their life over a bad relationship. If it’s bad and can’t be salvaged just move on. Taking your life because of someone else’s sin just hurts those you’ve left behind and does nothing as I’ve witnessed to effect the life of their ex spouses. Don’t wanna lose any more friends! Friends are precious like our lives are to God.

Anthony will be kept in a coma for at least 2 months, maybe 3. Still have no answers on how, where he contracted the disease. He was a heavy smoker too, so maybe this will cure him of that affliction as well. I keep praying.

Jesus miraculously heal Anthony while in the induced coma he is in. Praying that he’ll be better than ever after a short rehab.

In my prayers! No news on Anthony. He's in for the long haul I was told. He's in his late 30's too.

They think my Boss is having seizures. I went and picked him up from the VA. Otherwise he got a good report… no blood clot. He’s had an actual stroke before and I guess it runs in the family. However that doesn’t mean much with today’s physicians. The great PHYSICIAN hopefully answered the Prayers and did a personal house call and all will be well! Thanks for your prayers! We’ll keep praying for you Tony!

    Boss is seemingly doing good!

    Here’s the latest on Parker…
If you want to know what’s been going on keep reading…

We had lots of firsts this week. Sharing them all so I can see the memories each year.

We received the kids spring school pictures. This was Parker’s first school picture experience. Her hair is a mess and she looks wild… but I don’t think we have any other pictures that capture her true personality quite as well as this one did. Mav looks so grown up in his… time is flying.

Today we brought home Parker’s wheelchair. It has been a long and kind of quiet process for us. Admitting that my daughter needs/has a wheelchair is difficult. It’s a journey I feel very alone on. I know comparison is never a good thing, but I can’t help but find myself comparing my life with the parents and children I see here on Facebook. I know everyone has their own struggles, but at times it feels like we have no one to talk to… no one who could possibly understand what it’s like to walk in our shoes with a medically complex child. We are doing our best to stay encouraged. Parker is a miracle and she will do wonderful things. Walking is still very likely for Parker. We are working daily and she is getting stronger and more stable. We need the wheelchair for transportation purposes… she is getting so big and it is difficult to carry her everywhere, especially at school. While this has been a hard journey to be on, it is exciting at the same time. The opportunity for more independence for P brings us so much joy. Within minutes of sitting in her wheelchair for the first time today, she was already moving the wheels and propelling herself forward. She will be a pro in no time.

As if my daughter getting a wheelchair wasn’t enough for one day, Maverick also had kindergarten registration today. Life is busy and going by way too quickly. I am so thankful that I’ve had the opportunity to be a stay at home mom these past couple of years. It has been the best decision ever.

Well wife just came home upset and said Lindsey is having a very hard time with Parker lately. Terrible 3's I guess and is about to lose her mind according to my wife. Parker can be a handful and cries constantly and Lindsey is the only one that can really handle her. Wife and I tried one evening to do so and I was in trouble for just making it happen at all costs and wife didn't like how I did any of it. Basically you have to hold her down to give her seizure medicine and you'd think we were killing her. Tammy can't do what it takes and is to tender hearted to do the hard stuff. Which sometimes includes giving seizure meds after a seizure which is done rectally. I don't wanna do it either but you just do it. Thankfully I haven't had to do so yet. Say a prayer or two they really need Divine intervention post haste! Parker is a sweety but not so much lately and in reality Daughter needs a break from it.

Here's an update on my nephew Anthony - he's out of the hospital and back to work! Found this out today. He needs PT weekly though for a bit. Thank you Jesus! And thanks to all who prayed for his recovery. :amen:
