Hello everyone! I know this is sort of a long shot, but I’m looking for Army helicopter pilots (specifically warrant officers) for potential letters of recommendation. I’m currently building my Street to Seat packet and know how important the letters are.

Little bit about myself, I am an Army vet of 5 years, I was a 19D at JBLM and submitted a packet while I was active and was a fully qualified non select. I have most of the packet done, just waiting on my recruiter to schedule my flight physical.

Would love to have some solid letters of recommendations from former/current aviators to make my packet better! Please let me know if you or someone you know may be willing to have a conversation or two and potentially be willing to fill out a letter! Thanks guys

I’m a former 19D myself. I’ll give you the same advice I give all the guys that show up at the hangar - finish everything, have it reviewed by multiple people for grammar, attention to detail, completeness, etc and then bring all of that to one of us. Your best bet is finding an Idaho NG pilot to work with who would then be able to write a letter of recommendation based on personal interaction.

If you want send me a PM for my .mil email and I’ll look over what you have.

Fellow scout! Yeah so the street to seat packet is very similar to the active packet. I have everything I can fill out, my recruiter is supposed to do the remainder. I can send you what I have, and what’s required for the full packet as well. I’m working with my buddy whose an Apache pilot in getting a phone interview with his brigade chief. Trying to make my packet as strong as possible with a few solid LORs from CW5s.
