    Hi all!
Found this site while looking up infos for a Tacoma I'm looking to buy. Have had 2 Rangers in the past (85 and 2000) which were good, but since my current ride is an 06 Scion xB (with 285000mi) that has been amazing, I figured I'd look into a Toyota pickup next. I'll be checking around for stats on a second gen since I came across a 2011 4x4 V6 double cab (auto) for sale. Haven't seen pics yet, but it sounds pretty decent.
Looking forward to learning from y'all!

If you're not familiar with frame issues do some research here

    Thanks for the welcome, buckhuntin-tacoma!

TnShooter: thanks! Was hoping to hear good things about this year!

tacofish: Will do, thanks! I'm in the Central Florida area and I think the truck is from around the area.

I'll be posting more pics and info as I get them. Will probably try to set up a meet as soon as I can with the guy. (His fiance told me about the truck.)

Images can be a pain sometimes when I'm using my phone instead of the website. I usually end up uploading each image individually on the phone.

Thorough frame inspection, check the oil and coolant levels. Actuate the 4x4 system. Check everything and anything!

Looks decent from afar in those low rez images. But as stated above, the biggest issue is the frames on these trucks. Anytime they are remotely close to salt they can turn into swiss cheese. Pictures of the rear suspension mounting points and all along the underside of the frame is important. If you see it in person, I've heard it's popular to bring a ball pein hammer and tap the frame anywhere it looks questionable (obviously ask the owner before pounding on the frame, lol). If the hammer goes through, yeah... you don't want that.

I'm probably setting up a time to go check it out tomorrow after work. If the frame looks solid, it drives and shifts good and the fluids check out, is that a decent enough price for something like this?
(It's got that dope CD player too...) ;)
