    I wouldn't.

    Did the pedal travel change noticeably? Over time or all at once?

    You're likely just band-aiding something that needs to be fixed

    You want and need some free play.
    If you decide to fool, REMEMBER to check and adjust brake light switch.

    Personally, I'd leave it alone.
