Starter / Ignition issue

Hey found your site here I am a new member,
I have a 1995 Tacoma 2WD that I purchased from the original owner coming up on 2yrs ago now.
Super clean truck and well maintained. Had 235K miles on it and I use it as a commuter vehicle 4 days a week.
Last Fall the truck developed an issue that it did not want to start once it was warmed up and say running errands.
Example:
Started just fine, you can drive it and basically turn it off once (say at the gas station or a random stop for an errand) and it will start right up again. But...if you have another errand to run or the outside temps are above 70deg the truck will not start again until the engine cools down for 15-30mins depending on how warm it is outside.

This happened 1/2 dozen times until the Fall temps fell below about 70deg outside.
Seemed like a fuel or vapor lock issue and it happened more often when I had less than 1/2 tank of gas. I replaced the fuel cap, but the issue remained.

Recently the Check Engine Light came on so i plugged in the scanner and discovered that the Bank 1 O2 Sensor was bad...I just replaced that today and no error codes remain.

Any suggestions as to what could be causing this issue I am glad to listen.

Does the truck crank and not start?
Or not crank at all?

 

It will crank just fine in that situation

 

Crank but not fire over? any fuel smell outside when it does this?

 

yes, cranks but won't fire...no fuel smell or heat related odor.
When it happens, it takes from 10 - 30 mins before it will fire up and start again.
