Just wanted to throw up a review as I know the 4 cyl guys often are on the fence about an exhaust system. There really isn't a ton of info out there for the 4 banger folks.. Here it goes..

MBRP S5322AL Aluminized Turn Down Single Side Cat Back Exhaust System (Bought off Amazon)

I just installed this on my 2010 access cab 2.7L 4 Cyl Tacoma. I know that most think these trucks don't sound good or are on the fence about an exhaust. I can tell you that I have owned 8 cars over the years and all of them had some sort of exhaust work from Header back to just Cat Back, straight pipe etc . I think this exhaust sounds pretty decent for what it is.. Yes you will never get a V8 sound, and yes it is higher pitched more similar to a sport compact but not like a fart can Honda civic, more deep in tone almost like a Subaru without quite as much rumble and a little more bark on the end of the note.. Its relatively quiet in the cab and drone on the highway is as much as I would expect. Not terrible but its there.. It matched the hum from my mud tires so that could give some reference in terms of loudness and drone.. Its quiet on startup and really is loudest obviously when your punching the gas hard, but not bad if your just cruising.. I actually like it a lot..

In terms of fit and finish, its on par with most standard big name brands.. This is a cheap exhaust option (I paid about $220) so the clamps are not the best but functional and it went together just fine.. It doesn't come with hardware or a new gasket so keep that in mind.. I did have to trim off about 18" to fit my access cab. This says its for 4.0 but DOES fit the 2.7 just fine..

Overall it exceeded my expectations for both quality and sound..
