Will Gen3 Lomax Tonneau work on Gen2 bed

Bed dimension widths are same and length is gen3 = 60.5 and gen2= 60.3.

Looks like this model sits on top so will it seal on the gen2 tailgate top?

Anyone who has done this please let me know as seeing used gen3 ones out there fairly cheap. No listing for a gen2.
Would need to add a thick front bed rail seal to butt against like I had under my shell front so can seal that.
