Gun room at the Biltmore is legendary. Pretty amazing property. I just marvel at all the handmade trim work all over the house. I'd like to visit in all 4 seasons, I think we've been in spring and fall.

Pending another plane issue, in 13 hours we'll be boarding for, on paper, an 11 hour flight.

Wife was cooking dinner Wednesday night and went to grab a bowl from under the sink. Goes, "Uh, I think the sink is leaking?" Everything's wet under there so I pull everything out, throw a towel down and grab a flashlight. Leaking from the disposal, from the casing, right next to where the cord goes in for power. Welp, honey, how long till dinner is done? "about 30-45 minutes." I'll be back...
Came home, ate dinner than fought the old one out (I have no plumbing skills to speak of) spent 30 minutes scraping the old seal off, put in a new seal and Insinkerator Quiet Model. 9 year warranty and it's pretty dang quiet. Went from an old one of the same brand with 1/2 HP to the new one with 3/4 HP. POWER! New one went in fairly quick although it's tough juggling the thing in one hand while trying to turn the flange with my other. Luckily the new elbow lined up PERFECTLY to the existing plumbing so I didn't even have to fuss with cutting pipe. $300 I hadn't planned on spending, but it's there and will be there for a good long time. Now I just have to refinish the inside of the dang cabinet.... :bananadead:

If it was 30 degrees warmer I might actually apply the wax to the truck -- but probably not...

Those cheapie ones from Lowe’s have gone nuts. A 6ish by 10 one was a little over $3000 when I looked at it a few weeks ago!

Ironically I had a garborator under the sink when I first moved in my house. Un-hooked that thing ASAP. It was locked up anyways so there was no value to it. It was completely removed when I replaced the sink.

Ok just looked and good from Jan. 8 - March 14, 2024 good for the grounds and some off house and annual pass.
Keep up with me and I can get them to you. Or meet up at the front gate entrance. A date has to be set up.
