    To answer the title of this thread (sort of)… I pulled my USB connector from my ‘23 TRD Pro (following the method by @Stevie17 in this thread). Using an analog caliper, I got the following measurements from the USB Block (not the opening on the panel):
    0.85” (21.6mm) x 0.96” (24.4mm)

    I want to stick the connector behind the panel and run a cable from it to the right side of the driver seat where it’s easily accessible to me. I don’t like the cable draped over the center trim panel… gets in the way with the shifter and cup holders.

    I’d like to get a USB-C connector with a digital readout of the Taco’s voltage in its place. I've searched Amazon & eBay for an exact form & fit replacement, but could not find one.

    Next best thing I did discover, from Tacoma World, is a blank suggested by @Jeff Lange (Toyota PN 55524-12010-C0). Might have to go with it until I can find what I really want.

    I know you said you didn't want to cut the dash, but I used the Meso Customs replacement panel. Swapped out to a full size slot and added an extra spot for the new seat warmers.

    Wireless AA is in the glovebox.

    Purchased this blank. Cost me $7 even. Will put it in the queue of mods to be done.

    Do you have more photos or details in the replacement cable. I’ve had so many usb issues. CarPlay always disconnects. I’ve bought so many different cables and I am starting to believe that it’s the dash female plug side.

    If I have to replace that I might as well go your route.

    I believe @TRDRed sold his taco but I did the same as he did in this post;
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/usb-port-opening-size.805008/#post-28948954

    His photo of this was super helpful for me;

    Here is one of mine with the cable he recommended;

    How to videos of head unit removal can me found on YouTube.
    Its pretty simple & totally worth it for wireless Apple CarPlay
    Hope this helps.

    My usb port is finicky as well. Hit a good sized bump and it loses connection. I’m going to try and replace it with a usb c port this week. If successful I’ll keep you in the loop on how and the parts I used.

    Search feature not great on here. There is a thread with all parts to split the USB. The dash is usable and an additional in the glovebox. 20240329_144647.jpg 20240329_144726.jpg
