4 Wheel Parts sale

I’m got an email from 4 Wheel Parts today about their clearance sale.
They have a rear bumper on sale for $500 which says that it’s BSM compatible.
Anyone have their bumper?

Stay away unless you disable BSM. Tried two different bumpers, had Toyota recalibrate BSM and still got the disabled BSM message. Back to stock and all is well.

 

My buddy has this bumper and got his BSM to work with it. BSM will only work without the swing outs. Once you add a swing out the space for the BSM will be occupied by the pivot

 

I've purchased from 4WP in the past. Never again.

 

I definitely want to keep the BSM system working so I guess it’s a crap shoot with this bumper. $500 is very tempting though.

 

I just ordered the bumper with both swing outs but I don't have BSM. I'll update once I get it installed.

It’s sad to see 4WP’s basically shutting down slowly. I wonder how much time they have left.

 

Another post stated that they were bought by another company and are reducing inventory, perhaps they will just operate under the same name.

I read a similar post. They sold their inventory to a third party and are now a drop shipper.

 

Threadjacking ... what is the status with SSO? Back to full operation or still considering shutting down manufacturing?
