Damn! That sucks man! I hate it when that happens. Hope it’s not too painful to extract.

I just installed the RAS setup on my Lil’ Silver. I’ve been carrying around about 450-500 lbs of tools and equipment for work and it was sagging a little. It’s riding much better. I can still feel the weight back there on corners, but with more weight back on the front end it drives like it should. Once I get my other truck back the tools will go back into it. The RAS will be helpful when I’m carrying camping gear and my dirt bike. I’ll eventually put a topper on Lil’ Silver, so it will be help with that too.

Give us a review when you can. I'm considering airbags, AAL, RAS and Sumo. Got to do something soon.

I just did my first oil change on the Tacoma at 5k miles. Replaced the OEM drain plug with a stainless magnetic plug and replaced the plastic filter assembly with the aluminum one.

I also replaced my torque wrench and used it for the first time. The old one I had was WAY out of calibration so I stopped using it at some point. I figured now would be a good time to get back in the habit of using it.

Everything is like 100 ft pounds, right? :)

Nice find! Thanks for sharing this. At that price it’s a no-brainer. I see they’re coming out with a kit for 2016-present Tacoma auto with e-locker. Bookmarked the page.

Thanks again for sharing this and let us know your thoughts on the install and fitment, etc.

So far they’re great. I installed them at my brothers house 6 miles away. As soon as I drove it out of his garage I could feel the difference. No more sag or bouncy suspension with the weight that I’ve got in back. Since it’s not sagging the weight that’s supposed to be up front is back up front again, so it steers like it’s supposed to. I drove through 4 round about on the way home. Not nearly the body roll it had before, but with ~400 lbs back there right now there is some and I can still feel that and that’s to be expected. If the weight was to be back there all the time I would have replaced the springs, but the weight should normally be just every so often. It seems to accelerate a little better too since the RAS helps to cut back on axle wrap too. As I drive it more I’ll have to give more updates.

My brother has airbags on his F250 and he’s happy with them, but this morning he told me that one of them has a leak. The nice thing about my set up is it’s set it and forget it.

That’s too bad. I see people use cases for their fobs, why?
