Good eyes @PooTaco! I didn't notice the missing holes until you mentioned it, I'd like to know more about that myself. I assume that since there are no 'foot controls' on the passenger side, a shifting floor mat isn't any type of hazard. Not even sure myself but are there floor mat 'pegs' on the passenger side floor?

Yes, starting with model year 2018 and forward.

2017 and prior had no floor anchors on the passenger side.

I had Husky liners in My old Jeep Liberty and loved them. I would probably buy them again but my truck came with the Toyota all weather maps and they are decent too.

I like the OEM all weather mats just fine, moderate winters here in CO and I don’t use my truck for work.

I recently got my wife the regular model for her 2011 Scion, too new to judge though. Her folks have the same regular ones in their 10yo cars and they are still great. Again, moderate CO summers and winters. I wonder if those reporting that they warp are living in very hot places, that would be good data to inform buyers with!

I also just humored myself on the weather tech website and they don’t offer the “HP” model for Tacomas with manual a transmission. Regular model is available though.

These really work, have held my 2016 passenger mat in place for years.

Sorry I missed this completely, but no real point in getting pics now. My passenger side did not have the holes on the passenger side mat for the clips, but it sits just fine over top of them.
Looking forward to seeing pics in your access cab.
The other thing to note is that mine came with a set of velcro strips. So any areas that didn't lay completely flat could be kind of velcro'ed to your carpet. Will also help it resist sliding around. I don't really felt I needed to use the velcro strips so I never put them in as mine sat just fine.

I also originally ordered mine with the Tacoma/Toyota all weather floor mats thinking they would be enough. But I have 4 kids and I quickly determined that during fall/winter that they were not enough coverage unless I planned on wet Vac'ing my truck every other week.

Edit - Added pic, sorry its a bit dirty, but you know, winter.

Got the mats today, they are amazing, excellent fit.

But! The passenger side does not have the holes to secure the mat down

Does anyone know how to remove mat anchors without ruining them?

It sounds to me like they aren't an excellent fit if you have to modify your truck to make them work. I would return them especially since the company stated that they should have securing holes.

I sent a email, I will see how they respond.

The other issue is shipping them back, I'm almost positive tuxmat will not pay return shipping to Canada.

The mats really do fit about perfect.

EagleKlaw mat hold downs sells a tool to add a hole to mats. Not sure if this would help. Mine is a 2017 Tacoma so it’s probably different than yours on the passenger side.

Yep, my passenger one doesn't have the holes for the clips either. never really bothered me as they are on the passenger side. Just set them over it and leave it. They stay in on their own just fine, or if they move a little bit then use the supplied velcro to stick them to your carpet. Not really sure its that big of a deal.
