lol. tell us you despise children without telling us you despise children

just fyi, kids aren't a 30 year old fords. they generally don't leak fluids.

most old saab's would end up smelling like crayons from the leather they used. i suggest your preference of leather treatment to alter the smell profile.

Lol, this is not where I thought this thread was going to go.
Having lived in Tacoma Wa years ago I can tell you the "Aroma of Tacoma" is a decades old term and was a thing you would notice when you drove down I-5 through the city. There used to be paper and pulp mills giving off all kinds of nasty smells such as hydrogen sulfide (aka rotten eggs) that would cause you to roll up your windows until you were well out of town!

My wife's last vehicle (2015 Outback bought new), and had a bunch of leather/pleather parts in the interior.

Similarly, I didn't notice it at first, but after a while, it smelled like horse shit to me.

I would use leather conditioner (get something you don't mind the smell of) from time to time, and it seemed to get rid of that weird funk from it.

Despise is a strong term. I mean, rumor has it, I was even one myself a long time ago. But you won't be surprised to hear I don't have any...

Had some extended family come over a couple years ago. Nephew(sorry, my gifted nephew) got so excited during the tour, the only thing he could think to do was squat and take a piss right in the middle of the floor. Of our bedroom. On the carpet. On my side of the bed. Does that count? :bananadead:

Also, I'm assuming "funny cause it's true" applies here: https://theoatmeal.com/comics/kids

This is all in jest. You guys with kids will have the last laugh when I am bitter, old, and alone.

    This guy got the reference!

No, it doesn't. I have 2 cars with that type of interior.
Something has died inside or got wet.
