    Hi All,

Long time TW lurker here, currently residing in San Diego.
I've owned 1st and 2nd gen Tacomas and am a Toyota fan overall.

I was itching to get into the last year made before the 4th gen came out.
Dealership prices in Southern California were ridiculous with their "market adjustments" or unreasonable prices for the garbage parts they were throwing on. I was browsing Craigslist one morning and came across a dealership ad for the exact color and package (minus factory LED headlights/ fog lights) I was looking for with no markup. That same day my girlfriend and I took a flight from San Diego to San Jose and an Uber to Burlingame Toyota in the Bay Area to purchase my 23 TRD ORP in Lunar Rock.

Since then, I have been throwing mods/ upgrades to it and figured it would be appropriate to start a build thread. Enjoy!

4 miles on the odometer and my 1st ever new car purchase, I was beyond excited.

It was a long 10 hours driving back from the Bay Area to San Diego, was rerouted due to ice/ snow up on the grapevine (interstate 5). I was able to get well acquainted with the truck. I had really wished it was packaged with the OEM LED head lights and LED fog lights which would have been great for the long drive back.

Once I got back, I didn't hesitate to start with lighting mods.

Swapped my halogen fog lights for led fog lights from my lady's 23 4Runner

Threw on an HID kit I had from my old GX470

The HID's and OEM LED fog lights would only be temporary though..

Congratulations. Awesome truck. I’d be ecstatic too.
