Winch fest is back! Weather hasn't cooperated but we are sending it.

Here is the plan:
This is a winter wheeling trip. There is a cost since the trails are being groomed and maintained, and there are accommodations at the location. This is private property, you must abide by the rules they have in place. Visit https://www.mindenoffroadpark.ca for more information about accommodation bookings, rules etc... The new owners are happy to have us back!

Vehicle Needs: GOOD tires, recovery points front and rear are a must, recovery gear (at least a strap, and shackle to attach), skids, and armor.

When: March 23 -24, 2024 - Day trip is an option since main event will take on Saturday 23rd, however you are welcome to book one of their campsites or cabins for the whole weekend.

We should be starting wheeling around 11AM on Saturday and be out off the trails by 4pm.

Cost: Refer to their website, please get trail pass at their office before you head in the trail. SOTEC is not charging you anything for this event, you are paying directly to the owners. We appreciate donations tho!




Here is the past event we did back in 2020 and 2023, the trails are different every year and this time should get even more interesting!

Yeah man, last year we had a blast camping, we had campsites T1 and T2 wich became one large campsite. We are staying Friday night/Saturday night and I'll be booking T2 shortly.
Just don't give @MaverickT883 any spicy tequila shots or oysters.

There isn’t, 13 degrees here in Lakefield today.

 

No snow and no more ice on the lake even!
