Seeing the flames come around the sides was a little bit concerning.

It looks like just a few screws to take the blocks out and see what else is packed in there.

 

So, made my first set of cuts tonight for the dado for the lower shelf. I chose these to be first because they are the most hidden lol. My cuts were straight, wood cuts well and my groove is a thirty second wider than the shelf. However, my dust collection is a bit sketch and I cannot watch it and the saw on the fence so I am suspending cuts until the weekend. It will give me plenty of time to layout the notches on the top of the table and drill for the screws and dowels.
Here's a pic to show one side cleaned out and the other side ready to clean out. And, each of these pieces weigh around 45 lbs so I am getting a workout without ever going to a gym. And don't make fun of my chisel! I bought a set of three at a flea market when I was 17, or 43 year ago. I still have them and use them. I paid $2.00 for the used set. They are Stanley but man, they have held together.

Loud car driving by my house a half hour ago and I’m wide awake….

A few years ago my across the street neighbor told me he confronted three individuals who stopped in our neighborhood at 3:00 am who were scoping out properties. He said he was carrying his shotgun.

They haven’t been back but cars at 3:00 is always suspicious…

I knew I was getting close to a mileage straight flush but forgot about it on the drive home last night. Lucked out and saw it as soon as I started it this morning.

I feel bad for the guy.

He prolly rolled it down the boat ramp his self last night. Reported the ugly thing stolen.

The trailer hooked to the Jeep should have clued you in.

He parked it in the driveway, unlocked, again. He lives in the crummy part of town.

The retired cop in me thinks that this is very suspicious. The first theft, ok it happens. This one occurring so quick after the recovery has a funny feel to it. What’s the guy got going on the side?

@koditten has a good point too but I doubt he had full coverage insurance on it

Within an hour the rumors are flying.

 

That's the thing, when I ask about his insurance on it he didn't have full coverage on it so he canceled it when it was stolen the 1st time. I ask about his homeowners insurance and he doesn't have that either cause no one will insure his house until he replaces the roof on it.

He told me the other day after trapping the 3 raccoons in his attic the mom had been having babies up there for years.

Do you think they go outside to use the bathroom? I don't
