Replacing a full box on tacoma

Hi I’m new to the forum, i’m
Getting a full box swap done, just wondering how long does this normally take? I’m worried about other parts being harvested, any suggestions on how to protect myself? Thx.

 

Does that mean the bed?

Some dependency on how much rust there is, how many things you break with your removal process and how much smart muscle you have helping you.

With some luck a day or less, at a reasonable pace. A few hours if you are pretty good.

Run into parts problems, who knows?

Parked inside should squelch any 'harvesting'.

 

Full box, sides and bed, bumper, i might be paranoid I’m just worried that “my buddy” may swap out parts for his own truck, how do i avoid this? Seems like a stupid question, my frame is mint.

 

Depends how many bolts snap. But, assuming none, it should only take a few hours.

But if inside is at your buddies place, and you are worried, you need a new buddy.
