35's + wheels alone will likely run you around $2.5k+

People are trying to help. You can be into a nice budget set for about the same as the RC kit. You can fit any tire you want with the help of your favorite cutting tool

    Your kit (I think)

    https://www.roughcountry.com/product/configurable/toyota-suspension-lift-kit-75820c

Bilstein 5100's from hotshot @memario1214 may be able to get you a discount too

    https://hotshotoffroad.com/products/5100-2-3-lift-kit-w-replacement-coil-options-16-22-tacoma

Are you installing the suspension yourself? Would be a great learning experience and save a bunch of cash

then, you would not be talking about "36's on RC 6" lift" for "off road performance",
    considering 36's,
or have spent over a grand already ordering above said garbage

if that was truly the case,
you'd be looking at stock size, 31, 33, or at max 35
    and not RC parts

if 12 people tell you what you're doing is stupid
    then it probably is
which is not an argument. More of a fact.
Circles are round. Not an argument. A fact.

I would recommend getting some full length bilstein 5100's for the front once you put that DB in. Ditch the spacers and the shitty rough country shocks and it will ride way better.

They make the full length Bil 5100's for the RC DB kits.

i’m pretty sure any lift over 3.5 or 4 is gonna require a db or else you want your drive shaft to snap in half because the whole purpose of a db is to drop the diff

I can sell you RC parts
yes it will make you look dumb everywhere (so not a hidden kind of dumb type of way, but a Dumb tattooed on forehead kind)

pull up to pick up a girl she gonna say no
Pull up the job, boss see that gonna say Fired
    ride like shit, devalue truck
    etc.

if that is what you mean by street cred I can get that to you
    discount code StreetCred

    that's the neat part
    you don't

Checks out. Male prefrontal cortex doesn't develop until 25.
    step 1. do dumb shit
    step 2. get older
step 3. look back and realize "what the fuck have I done"
    (in some folks)

DB lifts are not inherently dumb, but they cost a lot more money than a simple 2" lift to be done right and have the same nice and smooth ride (No spacers in front, extended length rears, new leaf pack or AAL rear). You also can't easily return to stock form.

The plus side to DB lifts when done right are that it corrects the steering and CV axle angle as well as the infamous needle bearing issue, and easy to fit 35's without rubbing and cutting a ton.
