Need wheel help for offset! ASAP

I want to put on the EGR bolt of fenders which should be wider than the stock off road fenders (plasic) I'd imagine. My goal is to have the wheels either flush or sticking out about a 1/4 inch. I really like the the new Reika wheels from tacomabeast (limited edition)

I want to know if the -12 offset 17x9 will achieve what I want vs the 17x8.5 +0
I want to buy them before they sell out so quick responses are appreciated

How much wider are the aftermarket fenders? Usually a 8” 0 offset gets ya even with the factory fenders.

 

I ended up ordering the -12 offset. I looked at pictures of other 17×9 -12 offset wheels to see how they looked. The description for the fenders says up to 2 inches of additional coverage but they definitely don't stick out that much. I think they mean covering vertically not horizontal. Here's a pic I found. I would get them painted color matched however
