So you want somebody to pay to be your guinea pig? How many weeks is "a few"? What guarantees are you offering that the vehicle won't be damaged, or even totaled, while in your possession? What about theft or vandalism while in your possession?

That's a really big ask, especially if you plan to use the truck for promotional purposes that you will profit from.

 

I see you're new-ish, so maybe you've not seen how well respected and trusted vendors can screw tons of people over. Have you ever heard of Pelfreybilt?

That goes for vendors who actually have their own accounts and have built reputations. You're pitching for an unknown entity and you're attempting to dispel skepticism by talking about how you spent money somewhere else and you paint skepticism as "trust issues." Oh yeah, and "please don't contact the tuner" really lends credibility.

So, you were a guinea pig, didn't like what you got and/or the vendor couldn't finish the job due to some issues with another supplier. So you decided to LS swap before the install videos were done, and now this vendor finally has things figured out and needs another guinea pig. With an immaculate 2.7 truck, inside and out. And money to pay for the upgrades.

Well, I guess it never hurts to ask?

Maybe providing exactly what someone should expect to get (beyond some HP number -- specifically what gets installed to obtain that) and what they should expect to pay would be helpful, and who this vendor is.

So you aren't the owner of, or work for, the shop that will be doing the work on the truck?
The "vender" isn't the one tuning the truck. They use a 3rd party who is using Halltech.
This "tuner" was a former employee of the "vendor". And the tuner doesn't know anything about what's going on?
All the tuner knows is that they are going to tune an ECU?

Sounds like too many people are involved, and communication may be an issue?
