Well, the revised set of bump stops arrived today. I would like to get them on tomorrow or the day after and really hoping they are better than the first ones lol

I hope everyone stayed safe in this storm! We narrowly missed a tornado here, and got quite a show. I know, I should have cropped it.

Crap, here comes the next round

Edit: keep in mind; it was dark out when I took this picture. The lightning lit it up like daytime.

No. I was watching and waiting for the time to run downstairs. I heard it. I've heard 2 tornadoes now. But, I bailed out before the first one showed up, and this one fizzled out before it got here.

There was a thread on 4runners about this one, but the criticism stayed fairly civil.

I think it didn’t devolve into ridicule because of one reason. It has train horns. Everybody loves train horns. And the people that don’t like them actually secretly do….or they were just the traumatized victims of a youtube train horn prank video that robbed them of their train horn love.

9 years of roadwork got me loathing train horns with a passion.

I think I'm destined to be "that guy" in this group :anonymous:

I think i have a line on some Kahlenberg horns, but I'm just not up to the idea of adding online air to power them. But yes, you are correct, Train horns are awesome!

Okay. I am going to the Apple Valley Farms winter event. Cost is $40. Badgerland 4x4 just confirmed with me that they won't be attending. Tried contacting Apple Valley about camping but it seems to me they are not camping for the winter thing. I am leaving Ashland around 6 am for my 2 1/2 hour drive down to the Chetek area. I won't have camp stuff so the truck will be at play weight... I am sure I will be done by 3 ish for my drive home. Sounds as in @bkhlrTaco's is going. Anyone else in? @McSpazatron? I hear you have a lifetime membership at Tigerton, but it is nice to get out and expand your possibilities. There are go arounds... New doesn't have to be scary. @OldSchlPunk? @Stoney Ranger-I am sure there will be an opportunity to roll Alf (if you make it happen) Open invitation to come play in a new Wisconsin 4x4 site. Now that my brakes are clean we need to get some of these Toyota mall crawlers in the dirt (since winter has exited (for the moment)) Let me know.

Here is the link to Apple Valley:

    No. Fuck train horns.

Train horns on Bro-dozers are a nuisance. It's funny and novel until someone sets one off as they're pulling out of Chi-Town4×4 as you're walking through the parking lot. I had to restrain myself not to kick that fucker's Taco. Fuck that asshole! And, fuck his stupid ass train horn.

I'll be that guy with you. Fuck train horns, and fuck the redneck fuckheads who install them.

Whoa! Those knickers got bound pretty quick. Check out this redneck inner-city fusion: I Play Chicken with the Train (with Big & Rich) - YouTube
Might make you feel better about that train horn fucker.
