Re. credit cards, wife and I use our Discover card for just about all purchases. Paid off monthly, they give us quite a bit of cash back every year.

Edit: I'm proud of my welding capabilities too, but I'm not that proud.

 

My Friday's going great so far.

• Supposed to get 1" of snow last night.
• I had 3" in my driveway.
• Garbage wasn't taken out while we were on vacation so it took longer than usual to get it out.
• Didn't have time to get lunch ready.
• There's a nice layer of ice under the snow.
• Slid most of the way through a roundabout and just about hit a truck.
• Got to work late because everyone is (rightfully so) driving slow.
• Someone brought in donuts.

So it kind of all evens out.

 

I'm sure the ever generous @StayinStock could drop a wonderful severance gift. That would give him some time to find something worthwhile

My buddy got his dad to go buy this mower for him this morning. It has a recall on a regulator and can't be released until it is fixed. They didn't tell him that until he showed up.

I'd find another mower if it were me.


They said they would deliver it for free next week.


I ask my buddy if he bought it, he said his dad gave them the cash he sent with him

They gave him $2,000 off the price shown

If something is delivered by a truck its called a shipment, but if its delivered by a ship its called cargo. So confusing.

 

Welded this brace on after straightening out the hitch for my buddy at powdercoat then he took it apart and painted it.









Then one of his employees strapped it to a pallet so he can take it home

 

Concerts are like this now. I pulled out cash to buy shirts for the wife and I at Disturbed last Friday, and they said they only took card... Even though the price was a nice round division of 10...
Even the concessions were all card only, and the kicker, they poured our bottle of soda into a cup on 'management's orders'. What? Sounds like a great big sticky mess the custodians have to clean up later if it spills... Not to mention, extra plastic in the bin...

 

Don’t much matter. Storage & impound charge is still the same.

The air got a lil bit thick for a minute, but once CPR was performed on Earl (he's the new guy in the denim overalls).....we were back up and running!!

 

@StayinStock put this in the prize package, I ate lunch with @Hobbs last week and had him sign this picture. It'll be worth less in 20 years from now.

 

This week we were bouncing around doing a bunch of things...mostly on the Raptor. One thing we noticed - while Tacomas have a ton of options for aftermarket plates/brackets to mount under the hood for fuse boxes and etc., there are not a ton for F-150s/Raptors. So this week we made one. Took a few tries to get a design that was easy to install but overall pleased. Just need to paint it and run the wires.
