Figured I’d show an interesting way to mount a pair of LP6s on the front of our trucks with a stock front bumper. I wanted some nice auxiliary lighting on the front of my truck and I don’t really need a bigger front bumper yet. There really wasn’t any good examples out there. I did find a guy that put some LP9s on his front bumper but i didn’t 100% like how he mounted them

So I had a spare front grill lying around so I did some test fitting on it before I cut up my nicer chrome grill

The lights ended up fitting almost perfectly after cutting two of the vertical slats out

Ended up looking good test fitting on the truck

time to cut up the nicer grille

What sucks is I forgot to take a picture of the bracket I built to mount them. Basically it’s a square tube that went from one side to the other across the grille and just notched it in some places

    end result

    what do you guys think?

I like but it does defeat the IPT feature.

That's something you don't see every day. Is there any wind noise? and does the vehicle heat up a little quicker or run a little hotter?

I actually don’t notice any wind noise or any difference in engine cooling
