I was trying to find a post that talks about managing all the stuff connected to the battery. I have a light bar harness, compressor, canopy power and soon a winch. It just seems like a lot of stuff to have connected and I was curious what other have done. I saw R4T has that group 31 batt terminal connection but that doesn't seem right. I'm not sure if I am just making a bigger issue of it than what it is or what.

    Lots of options

    Replacement battery terminals
    Auxiliary fuse box
Switch pro / spod / whatever

I started with all my stuff connected to the battery and after a while switched to a switch pro. Made it easier to keep things tidy and didn’t need to keep pulling wires into the cab

It depends what amperage your accessories are pulling but running all of that off it's own fuse box/distribution panel is always a good way to go. But I play with decades old trucks, yours is too new, just drive it and have fun.

As of now, its not the wires through the firewall that concern me. I like the idea of the switch pros, etc. products, but I think my thought is to determine if it ought to clean up the mounting under the hood. If its fine, the way it is and will be, then whatever.

    Overlandequipped sells a fuse box.

    Jeepcables sells battery cables kit.

Only thing I need to figure out with aux fuse box is where to move my catch can so it's not in the way.

SDHQ makes probably the best battery terminals.
Beyond that, there's higher output alternators available if you need it

Recommend the auxiliary fuse block as well. I got mine here
    https://www.powertrays.com/

I also have the SDHQ battery terminals, which are excellent.

I also have a few larger gauge wires that I have connected directly to the battery for my air compressor plug, power inverter and winch isolator switch. I set those up with separate inline fuses and used Recoil battery terminals to make s clean connection at the battery.615QtMNIwML._AC_UF1000,1000_QL80_FMwebp_.jpg

I have an oe power tray, for the smaller stuff, but I’m pretty sure my compressor is on an inline fuse. As well as my winch. Connected to the sdhq terminals
