    Good morning TW!

So I have been eyeing these wheels on Facebook for a while. 17" RRW wheels (17x8.5 with 0 offset which calculates to about 4.75" of backspacing). The wheels are also wrapped with 285/70/17 BFG's. As of right now I'm on stock suspension, obviously these won't fit.

Would getting a 2.5" suspension lift and 1.25" wheel spacers be supplemental?

    Thank you!

Buy the correct offset to began with. Wheel Spacers suck

either way you are rubbing something, whether inside or outside of fender. pinch weld mod would be beneficial as well to eliminate any rubbing on the cab side.

but yeah definitely a 2.5" lift to run those and have them "fit" in the front wheel wells (rear has room since no movement). spacers may add issues but probably 1" at least if you go that route

Since you only got 4.75" of backspacing, I wouldn't worry about spacers right now... get a 2.5 inch in the front and a 2 inch in the rear to level out the truck some... if you still rub with the lift then spacers would come into the mix. If you can avoid them do it but if you still rub then buy some spacers.

Without spacers that much back spacing will cause you some frame rub. With or without lift. Stock is 4.5" BS, even on a 4" BS wheel, a 285 can get occasional slight frame rub.

those are really nice wheel but definitely some cons with spacers. I asked this yesterday and changed my whole mind on my set up.
