I’ve done that multiple times! That rear window definitely comes in handy and you definitely get some looks from people as you go through town.

No money, all went to truck...
I needed some 4x4x16s. I didn't want to take any chances so I had them delivered. But good to know I can fit these size boards int he truck...

Took advantage of the decent weather and gave it a bath. Now sitting in the garage having a beer, admiring my truck.

After deciding that the Oracal vinyl I use for other flat projects would definitely have issues around the complex/compound curves of the rear section of the quarter panels, I set out and got quotes from the 3 major auto wrap companies locally.
The first shop was double the price of the other two, and the second shop I hit was the same price as the 3rd, but the shop owner was pretty blah about our transaction and it was a considerable ways away from my house.
The last shop I checked gave me a pretty fair price quote, seemed friendly and interested in taking my business.
As a bonus, the shop is only about a 5 min drive from my house.
I've got an appointment to have the ass end of the Taco wrapped in "hod rod red" which is a fairly good match to the red stripe on my current application of Heritage stipes.
    Pics when it's all done!

I gotta know. At what point was this truck an off road model? Or do you have another?

Where do you get your vinyl, for your projects? I’ve got some Oracal 951 samples on the way for color match. What’s the difference/advantage with the Oramask?

Probably the opposite of most… Ditched the DD SS3 Pro fogs and Pro SSC2 ditch lights and went with the Elite Series for a cleaner look.

I used "Oramask" as a term incorrectly, as I normally work with Oramask 810 in my side business, used mainly for cutting out stencil masks for painting.

If talking about difference between the average stuff you get from say Hobby Lobby or Micheals VS. Oracal, it's mainly durability and longevity.

    Between Oracal 831, 851 and 951:
    - 831 is awesome for interior craft projects especially if there is ANY chance you ever want to remove it, but it's not permanent and not for outdoor use.

    - 851 is a cost effective permanent indoor/outdoor vinyl that will easily last more than 5 years. It's thicker than 951 at 3 mil or 4 mil depending on the type of 851 you get but is very workable. It's not the top of the line but if you have a large project it can be a great way to cover a lot. I've used it for the cowl stripe on my JKRU before I sold it, and it survived 5 years of hard core off roading without any of it coming off.

-951 is awesome stuff. It's also a permanent indoor/outdoor vinyl, but with higher longevity.
Its a bit thinner than the above two at 2 mil , but the adhesive is much more potent and because it's a bit thinner, it tends to be more flexible and able to go around compound curves.
The main disadvantage is it's a bit harder to lay down with larger graphics, requires more spray fluid under it during application & its almost always more expensive.

Frankensteined two busted sets of 2.5 icons into these. Added solo motorsports uca’s, ome leafs, and extended travel 2.0’s in the rear. Need bump stops still and an alignment but had these parts sitting for too long. Felt good to get them installed.

I see in the photos that your truck is a Sport, but your vehicle description says Off-road. Just curious, do you have two tacos? :anonymous:
