@GREENBIRD56 I hope your wife's eyes get better. It's pretty scary going through that. My wife's older brother has an aggressive form of AMD and has gone almost blind. His attitude has been acceptance and support from family is getting him through it. Good luck with her recovery/

Today’s predictions from .25” to 6”! Yikes! Oh well. I think I’ll just watch outside to see what the weather will be and dress appropriately. LOL!
Make today special. It’s the only 2/9/24 we get!

    Good morning! Welcome Scott!
That gif of Rodney Dangerfield is me the last couple days. That move is a back killer for sure. That and driving a 26’ U-Haul for a couple hundred miles with square wheels.

:D Well, we got out of there an hour early, so it wasn't so bad. RAV4 is shinier that the day we drove it off the lot!

Took advantage of warmer weather, blew out rain gutter system, last time this season. I usually have it done by Christmas. Getting old and lazy, I suppose. Wife doesn't like me on the roof, so I bought gutter screens to install sometime this spring. Second story part will need to be done from the roof, difficult to get an extension ladder up on the deck, to reach it. I have a harness, tie-off ropes. Don't really want to be on the roof again, until I get my double vision corrected, so that's top priority right now. Next eye surgeon appointment 2/14. I'll probably need another surgery. Was hoping for a one surgery fix, but no. Wife will be driving this time. Went over her car yesterday... don't need any surprises 100 miles from home.

Thighs look great! What grill are you using?

Good morning. Trimmed back all 13 knock out roses yesterday. All the trimmings fit into 1 yard waste bag, and it is heavy and full. Smoked a couple of pork steaks on the smoker.

Good Saturday morning all. In Ocala today, plan is to lay in provisions for tomorrow’s big Super Bowl family cookout and then check out some open houses in the area. This splitting time between our 2200 sq ft home in Odessa and this 800 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment in Ocala is wearing thin. Time to get serious about relocating here permanently. This should be fun, we both have our ideas of the perfect place, my wife wants another giant house, move in ready new construction with 3 or 4 bedrooms, big lot and no backyard neighbor. Me, I want a 3 car garage with some sort of house attached in an established 55+ neighborhood. No doubt we’ll reach our typical compromise and do exactly what she wants.

Good morning all. Lower back has been bothering me for about 3 weeks now. Was told years back I had the beginnings of arthritis there. I'very had it flare up before but always went away in a few days. Usually some stretching and ibuprofen helped but really hanging on this time.

LOL! Isn’t that the way it always seems to be!
Yesterday afternoon turned out beautiful and sunny. Spent time outside with our daughter’s dog.
Today…not so nice. 1 1/2” snow already with more coming. That’s OK especially if the mountains get some. They snow pack isn’t good.
A great day to spend in my man-cave or garage work! Always something to do.
Everyone take care and have a great day!
