U HALL closely monitors and restricts what trailers they will rent based on the tow vehicle. If they rent a trailer to someone that is beyond the various weight specifications of a vehicle, they could be sued if an accident happened. So take your truck to U Hall tell them what trailer you want to rent and what you are hauling and they will let you know if you can rent it or not.
A 4x8 U Hall trailer is pretty small trailer and you can’t haul that much. I doubt there will be a problem. You won’t need anything additional equipment to tow that cross country. It just doesn’t sound like this is going to be a problem. Just get the trailer, load it up along with the truck bed and go, enjoy the journey.
