Removing roof surface rust!

Well, had some spare time and figured I would get the rust off the roof.
I spent pretty much all day sanding, sanding, oh and sanding. No power tools, just me and a sanding block.
Here are the before and after. Waiting on the paint matched order to come in. Hood later this month, hopefully.

what about chemical rust remover products

 

Yes, I used a rust remover! Then added base coat. I removed the headliner to ensure I didn’t have any issues going through. All good. I lucked out.
