Hey guys. I have just a short quick question. Can you fit 36s on a 3rd gen. Obviously you will have to do a good amount of cutting, but my question is can you get away with the same amount of cutting for 35s and be able to put on 36s on. Also will you have to upgrade parts for the 36s. Example power steering pump. Or cv shaft etc etc. So in total what are the requirements to run 36s. Oh and im running a 2.5 inch lift

    36s?

Seems a super strange size. 34s, 35s, & 37s, sure. Even 40s......but honestly have not heard of the normal tire selection in a 36".

Are you the same 17year old that posted very recently about a 6” DB lift and 36’s?

Well, there are members running 37's... so yes, it's possible...

I guess what I'm saying is... "if you're asking", it means you haven't done your research... and if you're too lazy to research fitting 37's (aka 36's), then you're undoubtedly, to lazy to do the actual work to fit them...

I'll admit, that's a dickhead thing to say, but I'll be damned if it ain't accurate. Slap on 36's and prove wrong.

    WTF is going on here?

    35, 36 and then 37?

    No major modifications?

Sure, they’ll fit in the bed with no modifications.

    Are you serious?

Not sure about that. My 285s filled the bed up pretty well. I don't think 37s will fit in the bed without some sort of flat bed style modification.

Probably should just see what Super Swamper sizes are available and plan around that.

To run 35”s I had to cab mount chop, fold the pinch seam, run SPC upper control arms (just put them for sale on here as I’m long travel now) to move the tire forward for more clearance, trim the fender both metal and plastic, I got so there was no rubbing at all.
37”s are gonna require cutting metal in the front tires upper wheel well for turning and compression of the tire/suspension. I’d highly recommend running 35”s first to see the clearance and then up grade to tundra steering rack before going larger.

The Marlin Crawler RCLT-HD is probably the easiest way to run 37's given you don't have to do a ton of chopping/fab work.
    (some minor work required)

If I didn't already have Accutune's A-Arms I'd be tempted to just save for the RCLT.

Easiest way to run 37's (or bigger) would be portals... certainly not the cheapest.
