Best 245/75r16 for stock SR5 - All terrain

Yes, 245 75 r16.
The size is fine.
I went for a lighter tire and these are "extra load". I dont see any size issues related to the stability or dealing with snow, rain, etc.
A taller tire would look better , but they weight alot.

 

I noticed Wildpeaks are wider in tread width than comparable tires. On 245s it's 7.4" vs 7.8"; 265s it's 8" vs 8.4"

 

Thanks for the quick reply! I was actually intending to go w/ a 235/85r16 …but now also considering the 245/75 option. Going to have tire shop mount them both up for a look, then choose. Thanks again for your time!!!

 

I bet 235 will look better. I may consider them in the future.

You were right! Definitely going w/ the 235. I’ll try to attach a couple pics.

235/85r16 (passenger front) vs 245/75r16 (driver front). Also a couple of non-mounted size comparison pics.

Will try to remember to put up another pic after I pick up truck tomorrow.

 

2019 SR5, 4x4, stock, no lift, stock wheels, went up to 265/75/16 General Grabber ATX, no cutting needed, no rubbing, very pleased with ride, really no noise.

 

Those 235/85’s look like good stuff.

 

Another vote here for 245/75R16 Toyo Open Country ATIII

 

I put a set of P245/75R16 Toyo AT3 Open Country tires on my '10 Taco and they were the NOISIEST tires I've ever had. I'm a true Toyo fan, have used them on 3 different trucks, never had an experience like the last one. My '10 was a reg cab 4x4 4cyl man trans, all stock. Went from Toyo Open Country HT 245/75R16 to the AT3's and the noise was unbelievable; no issues with mounting or balancing (stock steel wheels) and I usually run 31-32 psi to get the best footprint. I know the tires are top quality, I just couldn't believe the noise they made!
