LMAO, this model year there's a Tundra trim called "1794 Limited Edition"
as you all know, there's also the 1794 trim, and the Limited trim.
Toyota really knows how to confuse people.

    I drove one …
First impression was WTH…drove it loved it …the more I walked around it the more I liked it…My wife pointed out after seeing the 24 the 23 looks old..everything rounded …24 is sharp and edgy…..Just opinions…the back seat area is smaller which I don’t understand…tundra is the same way btw….
    Currently driving a 2010 tundra btw…

I checked one out tonight and I wasn't overly impressed. It's nice I guess but I still don't really care for the looks. Frontend looks very 16:9 and squinted, Interior looked cramped to me. I didn't drive it or sit in it so maybe I'm way off base.

I have no plans to upgrade or test drive one I just saw it outside and wanted a closer look. I've always thought 3rd gens were the nicest looking midsize ever made and still do. I will say I would trust toyota over any other brand if I ever did want one of the newest gens. Not trying to hate it's just not for me right now 20240212_213102.jpg 20240212_213128.jpg

What trim is that? Actually looks good from the front. I’m not really digging the rear. Looking at the cab it sure seems the rear is smaller. Smaller door and window. Guess they got the leg room by the seat design and probably the positions. It’s like inflation and shrinkflation are hitting the Tacoma

Trd offroad long bed auto, Basic offroad package. The front end on it looks low and the 18 in rims are too much.

To me it looks bigger than the 3rd gen in those pictures.

It is. Not any taller but a fair bit wider which Is the way all the new mid sizes seem to be going. Smaller tank is a big step back in my opinion. Coil spring rear is definitely cool though. My truck is running 255s so it also looks more narrow as it is.

I think based on how wide this is a pro will look crazy. It's a shame they didn't do it with wider upper/lower control arms and it's just wheel offset. Also since a zr2 bison and raptor ranger are around 80k cad I'm sure it will be near that, and to me that's nuts.

Hell an offroad premium is more then my pro was. Inflation is a bitch for sure.

I think the front end on the 4th gen looks better. The 3rd gen front end, especially with the Pro grill, looks like a girl with silicon lips doing a "duck face" selfie :D

Looks like my local local dealer has 2. An SR for 40k and a SR5 for 47k. I think I’m out too

Just put a deposit on an off road for 45.8 and $500 off for 45.3. Keep searching and waiting something will come up if you're actually interested

Would you guys buy a DC 4x4 SR5 for 44k? That’s the cheapest I’ve found at my local dealer. Most of them are pushing 50k though. The packages are too expensive.

The cheapest is $42k. Someone added 2k of stuff. That isn’t terrible.

I’m having a hard time finding the value in one at that price. For not much more you can get a full size. maybe if the midsize was getting twice the MPG, which it certainly doesn’t.

The dealer that I used to work will still sell to me at $100 over invoice. We should start getting multiple supplier discounts at my current job. I’ll hold off until there is some big incentives on something. Should put it around the same price or maybe cheaper than what I would be paying for a OR.

Yeah, if I could buy at invoice price I'd be happier, but that's not an option. And if I waited a few years I could probably get it a little cheaper. My purchasing power will drop because of inflation, but I'm a TW user so I don't understand inflation. But at that point I should probably just wait for the 4g refresh. But then pricing may go back up. So I'll wait again. Then the 5g will be rumored. So I'll wait to see that first. Then....

I’m hoping everything slows down and they have to start offering offering low interest rates to move a lot of their inventories. Spending that kind of money at 7-8 percent seems pretty insane to me. And unlike some members here, I don’t have 60k of free cash to buy outright or payoff after a year or so
