In my case It's really more for off roading so I only have this one. Would totally work for setting up RTTs. My reasoning for it came from all the horror stories of engines failing on a side to side incline. So I wanted to have a number to reference in case it happened to me. I don't let it idle for more than 2 min at anything above 15 deg. I'll just shut it off and wait. Mostly happens when I'm waiting for people in front of me to clear obstacles. I installed it before the Colorado/Utah trip just to be safe. I also think it's kinda cool and I have a sport so no gauge in the cluster. I actually have a cluster from an Offroad installed, I can confirm the gauge software is not programmed in the cluster so no gauge. Interesting side note, the milage reflected on the cluster is from the donor vehicle.

    Appreciate it, thanks.

TW, what’s the consensus on bed stiffeners for a softopper? I think they’re only like 30-35lb

need to figure out if this is a want vs need before I tell the wife more truck parts are on the way

Yeah I saw that and thought it was genius! I actually ordered one to install. I’ll have to find a place to mount one front to back for leveling for the tent purposes but these is a great idea! I don’t have many moments where I’m idling long but it just takes once and this is cheap protection. Thanks for posting on here and YT!

I agree with rgljr831 ... tie-down points are always good. And the bed can always flex, even on smooth road. Off-road worse, add a sidewall load offroad and more-so. For $150, is just cheap insurance.
