I’ve been eyeballing this one at the antique store, there’s a gray and red/orange one also

 

This has been testing my patience for the last 2 weeks, but I’m finally finished. Sorry about my lighting I was trying to catch the pearl. My third arm is on a business trip so the lighting is bad lo siento

 

Looks good. Wish more guys would try doing this. If nothing else you now have something nobody else has. Also with Hot Wheels if you screw one up its no great loss just buy another. I save the chassis on my screw ups if they cant be saved to make Gassers out of other cars. They will fit under Johnny Lightnings and maybe M2s.

 

I try to do something different and make them the way I like them. Plus I get to learn new things with using different mediums and approaches.

Ended up stopping at a different wal mart on the way home and scored a few. I picked up another HKS Ford Ranger Raptor for my bro. He’s got a bunch of HKS parts on his taco. Thought he’d dig it. Thought this was funny and cool at the same time!, I work for an enterprise that is built around individuals with mobility disabilities and or special needs, they found out I collect Hot Wheels and gifted me the Green “Aaron Wheelz” one today. I’ve never seen one locally though until I just scored the “Red” one today as well. Crazy but super rad. Added to the collection. Hope everyone’s Valentine’s Day has been good so far. I'm a sucker for retro schemes. And one of the classiest, I think, was Lufthansa's 1970s scheme first worn on their 747-100. Despite a few quality control issues, I'm mostly happy with it.

Wow... this forum never ceases to amaze me with all of the special interests. I loved hot wheels and matchbox as a kid and as an adult dabbled in NASCAR die cast to collect back in the 90's. It was ADDICTING! I was hiding them from my wife...LOL. Had to sell them all when I had a financial struggle though.
