My much-loved 2003 Gen 1 truck is turning into a bit of a collector now that it's in it's 20s. Sort of a running restoration to keep it as nice as I can for as long as I can.

Last summer, apparently, a Diet Coke spilled into the center console change cup without my noticing and was left there to evaporate. It bleached the plastic to the depth of the soft drink. Modest polishing doesn't return the color. Certainly painting an appropriate shade of grey to match the original "charcoal" is an option.

But I thought I'd see if anyone has the remnants of a charcoal grey console in their parts stash and would be willing to pop out a very-good-condition change cup? Fingers crossed.

Fussy request, yeah. But I really do like this truck and I'm trying to keep it forever. :)

This was until recently a part available from Toyota (58916-AD010-B0) but like so many of the trim pieces on our Gen 1 trucks they're been discontinued.

Pull it out and warm it with a heat gun.

Like one can do with the talc-filled polypropylene wheel arches on our trucks? Perhaps…
