Door swap question

I have a 98 Tacoma with a big ass dent in the door panel. I’ve had tons of trouble with repairs so it’s time for a new door. I’m wondering what doors would be compatible? Mine has electric windows so I figure it would have to have that. Could I use any first gen year? Does it matter that mines 4wd? Can I use a pre runner door? Please help

 

Any door from a 1st gen would work. You may need to resolve interior door panel mounting issues if you go with a door that is not from a 98-00, like yours.

If I were in your boots look around for someone parting out their Tacoma, 95, 99, 01 doors are all the same... it's just the inner door cards that could be different. You can swap door cards pretty easy when you take off the door. I see you got a dent in your fender too, so anything between 95-00 will work. Try to look for black if you can, but if not don't worry about it. These trucks aren't meant to be show trucks, just offroad trucks. If you are really concerned about looks, then spray paint the whole truck a couple times with Rustoleum Semi-gloss Black.
