With all things being the same would the average person notice the difference between a 45 Watt RMS and a 50 Watt RMS amp ?
    Thank you for time/help

Depends on the amp, and the speakers

a higher end 45w vs a cheap brand 50w, yes. Big difference

    45w to a tweeter vs 50w to an 8” mid-woofer, big difference

same quality amp, 45 vs 50, not really. You’ll likely not keep your volume up enough to notice. My amp is 50w rms and I rarely go above halfway on the volume. And that gets painful to my ears pretty quick

@destin_meeks Thank you for the great information, didn't think about the rarely above halfway point :) you are correct about that for my type of listening.

Bass plays a big role into it as well. If you do not have a subwoofer, you will be sending all of your low end to your door speakers, and that will require a good chunk of power.

if you are comparing something like the kicker key, the older model was 45w and the newer model is 50w. They mostly just improved efficiency in the heat dissipation, allowing the amp to push a little harder but 5w extra on the top end Will be very hard to notice if the amps are comparable

So far this is what I am leaning towards getting, thank you in advance for any help/comments. I did not plan on installing the rear Tweeter as I will be using the Pioneer one in the dash. I will be using factory head unit.

I had that amp in my wife’s car for a few years. It put out plenty of power for its size. I would strongly consider adding a subwoofer at some point. Even if it’s just a small powered sub under the seat.

Get everything hooked up, see how it sounds and how you like it, and go from there.

are you using the factory head unit?

Running just the woofer in rear is going to make your rear fill sound kind of funny. Some people don't even run the rear speakers, so it's your call. Personally, I installed a set of 3 ways and called it a day in the rear.

Yeah I didn’t realize you had component 6.5’s for the rear. Get the coaxials

Any head unit worth a dern with better features than the factory unit will easily break a thousand dollars with parts.

if you don’t care about extra functionality, the factory unit is fine with an amp and speakers

@Stevie17 thanx for the advice "Cabbage" I like the reference,,,,been a long time since I have heard it :)
@destin_meeks I believe that I will be keeping the head unit. I made a similar system in a Nissan Frontier and it worked well for me. I don't have much "cabbage" :) and also want to keep my steering wheel controls.

Those will be good. You won't hear the back fill too much unless you crank it up anyways.
