Been having issues with an oscillating vibration at low speeds and a constant vibration noticeable between 45-55 mph. At first I thought it was my tire. Got a new wheel and tire. No change. Took it to the shop and they inspected axle shafts and bearings, those checked out okay.

I jacked up the truck and noticed the driver's rear drum brake is dragging at one point in rotation but didn't seem like enough to cause an issue. Don't notice any drag on passenger side. After driving a while with minimal brake usage, the front brakes are cool to the touch but both rear drums are hot. The passenger rear seems a little hotter than the driver's(???). I've taken it to several different shops and no one wants to give me the time of the day to properly diagnose this issue. Been to the dealership 4 times, a local 4x4 shop twice, and discount tire three times. trying to get it fixed under warranty but they keep telling me they "can't replicate the issue".

It seems to get worse the longer i drive it, like something is getting hot than causing the brakes to drag. When it gets really bad it feels like i'm towing a trailer and i struggle just to accelerate up to the speed limit. I know the 2.7 is slow, but it was never this slow.

They replaced my rear diff under warranty so I know they disconnected the rear brake lines. Do you think they weren't bled? Or what else could be going on? Truck has 32k miles. Parking brake seems to release okay and i don't have the typical lockup after sitting overnight like some folks talk about. Have had a total of 10 visits to various shops for this issue and i'm beyond frustrated. Have another appointment with a different shop on Wednesday.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
Maybe on this next attempt as it seems the longer you drive using the brakes the worse it gets.

The trucks then sits ( long enough) things seem fine not like a shop is going on a 20 mile drive.

So all the places you have had the truck looked at there would be no way to recreate the problem . If you can`t find the issue you can`t fix the problem.

The truck needs to be looked at right as soon as you pull up to the over head door.

Explain this before arriving to the next appointment if they can not do it in this fashion your going to be wasting your money again.

I wish I was close enough to help in person .

    Best of Luck .

I have the exact same problem in Utah, particularly on cold nights (10F and below) I have taken it to the dealer for the third time. The right rear tire locks up and will not release until it warms up or I cycle the vehicle in 4WD, back and forth.

I do like the truck; however, I should not be having these issues with less than 3000 miles.
