I got a dreaded CEL this morning taking my kid to school. I've had this happen a few times a couple of years ago with mice/rats chewing up my engine wires during the winter so my immediate thought is this is related.

Truck fired up fine and drove fine, but i noticed right away that my driver side turn signal was working but blinking 3-4x faster than usual/the passenger side.

When i got home, i found a chewed wire on my driver side head light (morimotos if it matters). No signs of any other wires that have been chewed at least from what i can visibly see within the engine bay.

After resplicing the wires with my buddy the turn signal works fine again (no longer blinking 3-4x fast) and the truck starts up and drives fine. I'm however still getting the CEL code P0348 Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit High Bank 2.

I tried wiping the code and it just comes back. Before i go down to the stealership and have them tell me all the shit i need to do, i just wanted to see if anyone has any ideas of what to look into? Is it possible that i'd get this code from a chewed headlight wire or is it most likely still something else?

Check other wiring for damage, there very well could be more.

Look at the wires on the top of the bank 2. This is intake side , so close to the middle of the engine
