    Hi there ,
Join this forum for the saje of helping my 75 yr Dad fix his truck and keep it on the road safely.

Currently got a code for 2445 secondary air injection system pump stuck off.
My Master mechanic neighbor said we need to order new pump and get that replaced to clear check engine and eliminate the reduced power after certain mileage where it drives only45 -50mph. Anyone had any experience similar to this ...and what fixed issue.
    Thank you

First check is to make sure the hose from the Air Pump to the Air Switching Valve and the hose from the Air Switching Valve to the Pressure Sensor are connected and not broken.

    WHAT ?? LOL

    Hi Gloria.

Your neighbor is correct for the air pump.
You should replace the valve also as I suspect the filter and crap has run it’s way
To it especially with its age.

You have a range problem/ short in your heater circuit/ O2 for your ecu 606 code.

I would suggest replacing the rear O2 sensor and the AF sensor at the same time as I have seen
many one sensor replacement diagnostics come back in a matter of days with the opposite sensor
Finally showing its ugly head. The computer is so much in turmoil, it can’t tell you everything that it maybe seeming. I really hope the truck is in real good shape cause it’s not going to be a real cheap fix.

You have to be all in or it will never be happy.
Just be on alert this may not be the end of the road with it..
    Good luck..
