My son and I were wiring a small amp and used the 4x4 fuse in our o2 prerunner and something happened and we lost power to half the fuse box. I will attach a pic of the fuses with no power.

Circled fuses have 12volts. Everything else no power!

Did you look at any of the fuses in the engine control bay fusebox? First thing I would to is pull the battery negative lead, the battery can blow.

If you're really sure of your connections my first guess is that this amp is drawing more than the system can handle.

Have checked all the fuses under the hood and nothing is blown. Also the radio, all the gauges, odometer, speedometer won’t work and it won’t crank. We pushed it off and it will run but not crank.

You’ve checked the AM1 and AM2 fusible links as well? Don’t just look at them, pull them and check continuity.

I have attached the power source circuit routing for a 1999. Find the ones without power on this chart and trace them back to find where the failure is.

I will check these in the am. I don’t want to ask to much but would it be possible to link pages 19 and 20 of that pdf so I can find the locations of those. Thanks in advance!

Thanks very much for the help! It was the 40 amp fuse under the hood! Everything works now except the cruise control won’t turn on.
