This guy used to have a site called mouse trap Monday where he tested all kinds of traps and repellents.
I guess he invented his own trap works pretty well, is similar to others.
His vids now are all on youtube.
Not sure if he ever tested the tape.

 

We had this with my wife's RAV4 a couple of weeks ago. We got it early and so the repair was only about $500.00. The service writer suggested that we drive it every day so they didn't get comfortable.

I also put one of these under the hood of her RAV4 and my Taco.
