What is the bigest weels and tires for my tacoma?

I Have a 2008 Base model 2WD access cab Tacoma. I'll like to know how big I can go and what is your recommendation with no Lift Kit.

You probably had this question before but couldn’t find a thread of my specific vehicle.

This truck looks very low an small is there any difference in the suspension compare to other like prerunner? or it is just about wheels and tires

I'm willing to put a Lift kit but had bad experience lifting my old Nissan so I'm litter nervous to do that. if I can get a decent height with just wheels and tires I'll do that.

So any comments feel free to comment.

Your truck is referred to as a 5-lug. The suspension is entirely different than that of a prerunner or 4x4 (6-lugs).

We have a separate 5-lug subforum that will help answer your question on the tire size. I think the answer is 235/75/15 but I'm not sure.
