Yup, not an entirely happy place to be in with weird add ons. But got myself an early birthday gift that’s featureless.

Thanks man. I shot my buddies older model years ago and loved it. Always wanted an AR but the premiums are also crazy high here. Just want to poke some paper so I figure this is a good entry model for me.

 

Can only buy one gun every 30 days in good ol CA.

Have to be owned pre ban and registered with the state.

Though about 99% of people didn't register them according to the news!

I was mostly just teasing. If youre gonna own just one rifle, the ar is the way to go. and if youre gonna own multiple firearms, having several ars is the way to go. They're just too ubiquitous and serviceable to do without.

Maybe its changed, but ban states use to be able to receive all the parts needed for bigger magazines. Maybe its changed, but just sayin..

 

I know my guy! Just more bummed about our laws the more we talk about each one haha.

They had a decked out Daniel Defense, gorgeous, but for the price and my expertise, I’ll start small and work my way there.

Figured I’ll spend a few bucks to build this one up a bit and wait a few years.

Don't think so but not sure. All of our surrounding states are more gun friendly so if one would want to circumvent the law it's not hard. Not worth it though unless you really really want a bigger mag.

I think almost all sheriff's in IL said they wouldn't enforce the law but that was a while ago and things may have changed.
