Hello from NorCal with a 4r!

Hello all,

I own a 4th gen 4runner and quite active on T4R. Been eyeing a Tacoma more and more, but haven't pulled the trigger due to this market. Figure I'd create an account here since TW is more active and I get to learn more about the Tacos!

Thanks all. Been a while since I posted this and figured I'd bump this instead of creating a new post. Finally pulled the trigger on a Tacoma. Ended up selling my 4runner sometime late 2022 in hopes of waiting for the 4th gen Tacoma's pricing and options. After months of waiting, I couldn't bring myself to pay over $60k OTD for a TRDOR DCSB w/ the Premium Package, given the fact that I wanted a MT.

Friend who works at a dealer just happened to get a 2023 TRDOR DCSB MT with very low miles (5k miles) traded in. The owner was some older gentleman who thought he'd be fine with manual, but ended up hating it and traded it in. Called me the moment it was CPO'd, and rushed over to the dealer. Was able to hook me up with a discount on top, so it was impossible to say no.

Been a long wait, but well worth it. A tried and true platform.
