    The best?

It depends on what you use your truck for.

Use the gooogly and delve deep into the rabbit hole of suspensions for our trucks and it’s limitations.
You will find tons of reading, and audiovisual material to choose from.

I mean, the guy could hit a bump at high speed with pretty much any setup. But to be able to do it a couple more times after? Yeah. Probably gonna need to spend more than 3k.

For Baja you're going to need new rear leaf packs as well otherwise you'll constantly be on the bump stop.

If you're not in a hurry, you'll see some used coilover setups at a discount in marketplace. 3000$ is more than enough .

3k will get you a good tire and an upgraded stock replacement shock. If you want to hit bumps and go fast for 3k buy a Mt. Bike, Dirt Bike or a Quad.
