To start I’ve fixed the side to side play shown in the second half of video. But now I’m on to the noise the CV is making when the tire spins. happens on both sides when the truck is on Jack stands at full droop. Truck has 5100’s and I believe at 2.5 over stock. No noise while turning or driving at all. So it’s time for me to either reboot or get re manufactured axles as the inner boots are slowly seeping grease. My question to you all is, is that noise “normal” for my circumstances. Or is it a sign that I need to get a new set. I’d like to just reboot but if there toast I don’t want to waste my time

Yeah, just lost at why it only does it at that full droop. When I Jack the LCA a little up it stops. I feel like it would be more noticeable if they were too far gone

You know, on second thought, maybe they'll be alright. Maybe that noise is just them binding at full droop. I suppose you should order reboot kits, tear them apart in preparation to reboot and inspect them in the process. If the inner joints seem solid, and there's not evidence of damage internal, then proceed with the reboot. If not go buy Napa axles and throw them in.
