Ditch Lights

Man I hate ditch lights, they're worse than fog lights.

 

I'll be curious to see if our boy can catch as well as he pitches.

 

I have the Caliraised round cannon pods on my Tacoma. I drive home from work late at night and there's a long dark highway with wild horses and other wildlife on my way home. I go camping up the back roads where there's Elk. I take my truck off road in the daylight, but I still need illumination at night and these work well.

 

Wild horses? Like, Mongolian wild horses? Or horses just horsing around unharnessed? Discus.

Dude! Met Larson once at my first job! Was working at a video rental store. Told him his name was odd and asked him if he liked to draw? He replied: “just cows.”

He left the store and I freaked out. Everyone else said “who?” Except the lady who was behind him in line and had overheard our exchange. She smiled and nodded. And then I went back to sticking overdue videos into the rewinders.

Meeting your heroes is so cool when they are too.

 

Ok... most celebrity encounter stories are stupid... but that encounter is amazing. Larson is the GOAT. I had a shit ton of his books as a kid. I'm sure I've got them stuffed in a closet somewhere.

Ooooh, side-side-quest: 3rd Gen Taco shaped VHS rewinder with Larson cows hanging out the windows. I will put that on that list. Need to get my 3D printing skills up to snuff.
